Soft Tissue Massage

What is a Soft Tissue Massage?

Soft Tissue Massage is a hands-on treatment that focuses on the muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues of the body. It uses a combination of techniques like kneading, gliding strokes, and gentle stretching to relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. Unlike deep tissue or sports massage, soft tissue massage uses lighter to moderate pressure and is typically more soothing and less intense

What to expect during your Soft Tissue Massage?

  • You’ll be made comfortable on a massage bed, with towels used for warmth and modesty throughout.

  • The therapist will use a combination of gentle to moderate pressure techniques, including gliding strokes, kneading, and gentle stretching.

  • Focus will be placed on areas of tension while promoting overall relaxation.

  • The massage is designed to be soothing and comfortable, with no intense or painful pressure.

  • You can communicate with your therapist at any time about the pressure or areas you’d like to focus on.
